Charge Point Network: An interconnected network of chargers, usually operated by a single entity, made available for public use via a mobile app.

Charge Point Operator (CPO): A company operating and maintaining the chargers, and responding to support requests.

Mobility Service Provider (eMSP): A company providing users with a platform where they can find chargers and pay for their charging.

Charge Point (some times referred to as Charger) - the technical device, which is suitable for charging Electric vehicles (see EVSE), optionally with a services for payment and invoicing.

Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE): Physical circuitry inside a charger that facilitates charging, providing the electricity to the vehicle, while monitoring various parameters to ensure safe operation.

Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP): The communication protocol supported by most chargers and backend systems used to control chargers remotely.

Namespace: (in CleverEV) the highest account level, which may contain multiple Locations and Charge Points

Location: (in CleverEV) a group of chargers, physically in a single geo location and having the same commercial parameters (pricing, prioritization, etc.)
