Reservations

Reservations allow users to ensure that a Charge Point will be available to them at a certain time in the future.

Normally, not all Charge Points support Reservations, however with CleverEV all Charge Points that have Offline Auto Charging disabled can take advantage of Reservations.

Reservations are configured at a Location level, and the configuration is shared between all Charge Points connected to the Location.

Reserve a Charge Point in CleverEV Mobile App

  1. Find a Charge Point that supports Reservations. Supported Charge Points have a Reservation tag under their name when you tap on them.
  2. Tap on Reserve to bring up the modal.\nTODO screenshot
  3. Select the desired date and reservation length.\nTODO screenshot
  4. Checkout. After the reservation is made, you should receive an email with the details. You will also receive a push notification two hours before the target time as a reminder.

Configure Reservations in CleverEV Web Console

  1. Navigate to Locations in the sidebar.\nTODO screenshot
  2. Find and click on the Location you would like to edit Reservation settings for.\nTODO screenshot
  3. Click on the Settings tab.\nTODO screenshot
  4. Find Reservations under Features and click the toggle to enable.\nTODO screenshot
  5. Click on Configure under the toggle.\nTODO screenshot
  6. In the modal, edit the settings as you wish.\nTODO screenshot
  7. Click Save to save your changes.
