Charging at a Public Charger with CleverEV

The charging on a public or private chargers, which are being made available to the user, is controlled from the main screen.

You can select a charger from the map in the following ways:

• free zooming on the map, using two fingers to enlarge the selected position

• click on the Target sign on the right side to bring you to your location

• filter the available charger with the Filter sign. Filtering is possible by connector type and by minimum power of the charger. The filter also allows other show only the chargers, which are available at the moment

• the fastest selection option, which is also available for chargers not ont he map, is by selecting the QR code sign and pointing the camera to the CleverEV QR code on the charger (if it is available). The application will directly display the selected charger and port

Clicking on the location sign for the charger will provide information for the available chargers and further about the details of the charging conditions (pricing, maximum charging capacity) on the charger.

Clicking on the Start charging will bring up the payment and invoicing options for this charger. At the bottom of this window there is an option to update the Communication preferences.

Clicking on the arrow sign will open the window, where the triggering options - per kWh, time or charging amount - for sending an alert can be setup.

Click on the Start charging button again to launch the charging session.

For selected chargers, authorized users will see the option to Prioritize the charging, overruling the load balancing rules and giving full power to this charging port.
