Adding RFID cards to the system

The RFID cards can be added and assigned to a Namespace, to a Location, to a Charger or to a person. For more information about these options - visit the Reference part of the documentation.

Adding the RFID card is best performed on the console web interface.

  • Select the Keycards on the menu on the left side

  • Click on the “+” sign in the top left corner

  • The below menu item will launch, allowing to select do you want to add a CleverEV keycard (RFID) or a generic third party keycard. Note, that the CleverEV keycards are pre-configured and only the Friendly ID will be required, while for third party cards the full identification number will be required

  • After creating the keycard, you can change the assignment of it. Clock on the vertical 3 points on the right side and select “Edit” from the menu.

  • From the appearing options select the one, relevant for your case. Please, note, that binding to a specific person is only supported with the help with the CleverEV team. Please, contact your reseller for assistance.
