Charger Setup Guide - EVNet chargers with CleverEV QR code

To complete the setup, you will need:

  • A CleverEV 7 kW or 22 kW charger installed and powered on
  • A CleverEV account (free or paid)
  • A computer or mobile device
  • Network access for the charger (Ethernet cable or 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi coverage)

Connect the Charger to Ethernet or Wi‑Fi

  1. Using your chosen device, connect to the charger’s built‑in Wi‑Fi network. The SSID and default password can be found on the instruction card.
  2. Open a web browser and navigate to: https://192.168.4.1/index.html
  3. Your browser may display a warning about a self‑signed certificate. This is expected. You can safely ignore the warning and proceed to the website.
  4. Enter the administrator password when prompted. The default password is printed on the instruction card.
  5. n the sidebar, click Admin Panel.
  6. Enter the administrator password again. The default password is printed on the instruction card.
  7. In the sidebar, click Network Configuration.
  1. Select WiFi as the Primary Interface.
  2. Click Apply, then select Restart Later.
  3. Enter the SSID and password of the Wi‑Fi network you want the charger to connect to.
  4. Click Apply, then select Restart Now.
  1. Select Ethernet as the Primary Interface.
  2. Click Apply, then select Restart Now.

Wait for the charger to restart.

Sign in to your account on the CleverEV website or mobile app.

On the website sidebar, click Chargers, or in the app tap My Chargers.

Click + Add Charger.

If asked whether you have the sticker, select Yes.

Enter the Sticker ID shown on the charger. In the mobile app, you can also scan the QR code to enter it automatically.

The charger will now connect to CleverEV. After a short time, the LED on the charger will turn yellow, and the charger will successfully connect to the system.
